The Story So Far:
Born in Lower Hutt, Zoe Anderson competed in her first triathlon when only six years old. Competition in the Kiwi Kids and Weetbix triathlons quickly followed and her love affair with sport started. Joining a swim squad, triathlon club and harrier club were natural progressions to this serious athlete. It wasn't long before Zoe started her winning streak, as early as 2004, in the Nae Nae Triathlon winning the Under 16 title as a twelve year old. Regional and National Age Group titles followed in Triathlon, Cycling and Multisports.
Selection to the Triathlon NZ Youth Academy last year (2006) was clear recognition of this exceptional talent. A NZ Cycling National Champion in the Road Race and Runner Up in the Time Trial, National Multisport Champion and numerous significant wins in cycling, triathlon, swimming
and running throughout 2006 reinforces the belief in Zoe's ability to achieve at the highest international level.
