Eddie's sporting career spans a multitude of adventurous and athletic endeavours including a highly successful and decorated
Eddie's cycling career started at an early age racing on Merseyside before developing into a coaching career. The passion for cycling has remained as strong as ever over the years.
Eddie's roles over the recent past include Director of Coaching for Cycling NZ, Applied Services Manager for Sport Science NZ and for six years, Coaching Performance Manager at the Academy of Sport - Central.
Representation in Triathlon included three times competitor at the World Triathlon Championships, three time Ironman finisher, place-getter at the Gold Coast Triathlon World Cup and chair of the organising committee at the Wellington World Championships.
Eddie has taken national cycling teams to World Championships and World Cups as both coach and manager. In 2007 Eddie was the Junior Women's Road coach to the Junior World Championships in Mexico.
Currently, Eddie coaches a number of outstanding junior and senior cyclists and has established a cycling development team [Team Cyclosport] to facilitate their success at the highest level.
